The short version
This is a simple website. There are no user accounts, no logins and no online store. The only way you hand us information is by filling in the contact form or by calling us. We use what you share to answer you and to do the work you asked about. We do not sell it.
Information you give us
The contact form has fields for who you are and how to reach you, plus room to tell us where you live in the city and what the rodent problem looks like. Whatever you type into the form is sent to us. When you call, we may write down your number, your address and the details you describe, so we can schedule a visit and keep track of the job.
Please do not include anything sensitive in the form that we do not need, such as financial or medical details.
Like nearly every website, the server that delivers these pages may keep standard technical logs, such as the time of a request and the address it came from. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors, and this site does not set advertising cookies.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a home or business. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us details through the form, let us know and we will remove them.
How we use it
- To reply to your message or return your call.
- To arrange and carry out inspections, trapping, sealing and cleanup at your property.
- To keep basic records of the work we did, for follow-up visits and our own bookkeeping.
Your details are never sold or swapped with marketers, and we do not use it for marketing lists.
Outside services this site relies on
Form submissions are handled by a third-party form processing service, which receives what you enter and forwards it to us. That provider stores the submission on its own systems under its own privacy terms.
The pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch those fonts, and Google may receive your IP address and basic browser details as part of that request. Google's own privacy policy applies to that data.
How long we keep things
Contact details and job notes stay on file while we still need them for follow-up visits, routine bookkeeping or tax records. After that, we delete them.
Your choices and questions
Want to see the details we have on file for you, fix a mistake in them, or have them erased? Just tell us. To make a request, or if anything in this policy is unclear, contact Grand Rapids Rodent Control by phone at (616) 441-5601 or through the contact page. If we change this policy, the updated version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
